Overview of the Corporate Strategy Assistant Vice President Role:

The Corporate Strategy Assistant Vice President has a multi-faceted role which primarily focuses on strategic business performance review, analysis of business and operating model, market entry strategy, acquisition screening and industry & competitor analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gathering and aggregating forecast submissions across businesses

- Identifying, developing, and driving business level strategies that create opportunities for revenue and market share growth. The role will focus on the development of new market initiatives through research, analysis, and presentation of financial/analytical modeling. Rolling out of strategic initiatives

- Analyzing firm-wide utilization statistics

- Assisting the SVP for strategy planning

- Preparing and presenting the monthly, quarterly company performance against the set targets

- Heading department's forecasting and budgeting activity

- Supporting project managers of key strategic projects with workflow/workstream coordination and tracking

- Making recommendations on proposed costs and financial/organizational impacts of costs

- Planning Capital Market Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions

- Conceptualizing and developing a detailed point of view and client proposals in the areas market entry strategy, cost optimization, new business build-out, digital strategy, process review and redesign

- Strategic assessment of under-performing businesses and development of scenarios/ recommendations for business heads

- Working closely with SVP/MD- s, business CAOs, finance and other functional teams organization

- Developing optimal strategies/ tactical plans for fixing key result areas

- Formulating of strategy around distribution model and tracking execution of strategic imperatives

Prerequisites:

- Bachelor's degree in any field, MBA preferred

- Experience in business consulting, corporate strategy or similar position with significant experience creating business cases, evaluating financial performance and performing market and competitive assessments

- In-depth understanding of financial services domain

- Independent thinker and multi-tasking skills

- Effective and efficient problem solving and analytical skills

- Ability to conduct market, industry, and company research

- Ability to develop business/financial models

- Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task

Candidate Experience:

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience (financial services industry

Compensation: - Commensurate with industry standards
