Assistant Vice President - Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization - Agrochemicals/Pharma

Asst. Vice President - CDMO (Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization)

The Role: Build contract manufacturing capabilities include product development, formulation, and commercial-scale production facilities Agro chemical brands, along with a cost-effective manufacturing platform, unflinching emphasis on quality and strict compliance to global EHS (environment, health and safety) standards. This position will be responsible for topline and bottom-line growth of the CDMO business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for CDMO ownership, lead the team and assist the operations.

2. Building/strengthening partnerships with global agrochemical majors, generating new prospects, leads and opportunities

4. To fulfill the customer requirements like timely product development, scale-up and dispatch

5. Strategizing the long term & short-term business directions to ensure maximum profitability in line with organizational objectives.

6. Develop new customer & business opportunities in the Agrochemicals segment by CDMO

7. Relationship building with Innovators by negotiation, for strategic alliance and preferred partnership in Contract manufacturing

8. Play key role as one point contact for organization and Customers for implementation of products at decided location/manufacturing site in collaboration with internal stake holders.

9. Responsible for finalizing and implementing product strategy for the customers like advanced intermediates, Active ingredients, formulations.

10. To provide customers with technological innovation, process optimization, and integration and focus on supporting services to help customers save costs

to the utmost extent, which is relevant to the company's innovation, synthesis, and management capabilities.

11. Proactive and enthusiastic for frequent direct customer visits and extensive networking activities.

Candidate: BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering with MBA in Marketing

Essential:

- 15-20 years of professional experience

- At least 5 - 6 years of proven experience as Head CDMO in Agrochemicals or Pharma (preferable) India/Japan/Europe/USA exposure

Preferable:

- Experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations

- Prior work experience in Agrochemical related industries and crop protection business

- Prior experience in setting up and leading the CDMO business

- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices

- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills

- Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and public speaking skills

- Proactive thinking and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
