Assistant Vice President - Claims - Property/Non Marine Vertical

AVP - Property/Non Marine (for FIRE, Engineering and Miscellaneous products) Claims

Job Role : Leading a team of talented professionals and guiding them for an effective control on large value claims under the Property/Non Marine vertical.

Job Responsibilities :

- To manage and control the claims function under the Property/Non Marine (for FIRE, Engineering and Miscellaneous products) segment for India and Indian interests abroad.

- The candidate has to effectively provide strategic direction to the claims team so that the entire team works in unison with the ultimate organizational goal in perspective.

- Apart from the responsibility of direct supervision, the candidate is expected to handle the large value claims directly, visit loss sites along with Surveyors, take/guide customer to take loss mitigation steps and take the claim towards the closure through close interaction with Surveyors/experts and customer.

Educational Qualification :

- Min Qualification: B Tech/ B.E in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical engineering from a reputed college, (NITs and IITs preferred).

- Added preference for candidates holding a MBA qualification or having insurance related qualification in addition to min qualification as specified

Experience:

- Minimum experience: Above 10 - 20 years post highest qualification

- Candidates having 5 years- experience in the insurance domain would be preferred
