Coordination and ownership of Management Information required by the Global Markets for business monitoring and key decision making for headcount.

- The role holder will play a key role in developing the Management Office MI function for global consistency and increased efficiency of MI through inhouse tools like People Portal and other data management tools. Also the incumbent will be required to ensure timely information is produced on a routine and streamlined basis

- Said individual will play an active role in building up new processes and suggesting improvements and enhancements to existing ones across all asset classes (Fixed Income, FX, Equity, Sales) in Global Markets

- Interaction with team members in Bangalore to understand activities being performed currently and suggesting and implementing enhancements that will help save time and/or add value to the process

- This JD reflects the initial expectations from the role at this stage. As the migration progresses with clear deliverables identified, more details will be added to the roles and responsibilities

The role involves :

- Creating a platform to successfully create HR MI and analytics

- Lead development of the MI plans for the business and deliver bespoke MI in accordance with business requirements

- Identify trends, and/or highlight problem areas and make recommendations for improvements to operational procedures.

- Identify the needs of the customer and with guidance design and produce new reports.

- Analyse and improve existing reports and solutions to internal and external customer requirements.

- The main challenge of the job is to be able to use their own initiative to improve accuracy and breadth of reporting. They must be self-motivated and self-disciplined being able to demonstrate a methodical approach.

- Demand for MI can typically mean there will be a requirement to be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

- The job holder should be able to work with minimum supervision but be able to work as part of the team.

The job holder will also need to work with various stakeholders across asset classes and geogrpahies and lead by influencing senior stakeholders.

- Responsible for the continual assessment of operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructuring and the impact of new technology.

- Demonstrates compliance with Group standards, manuals and policies and adheres to the defined work practices, internal controls and risk management standards associated with the role.

- Maintain a detailed knowledge of business systems

- Delivering efficiencies and synergies to Global Markets

- Publishing accurate MIs and management pack along with strong governance and oversight

- Developing and automating the MI in Global Markets
