Education :

MBA with Maths; Mathematical - Statistical specialization or Actuarial services specialization in General Insurance.

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Design, Price and File innovative products across all lines of businesses to cater to the needs of partners and commercial customers and Corporate

- Closely working with the sales and marketing team to discuss and understand partners- insurance needs and provide suitable product solutions

- Customize and price the insurance products for partners.

- Price and file traditional insurance products for retail and commercial customers

- Work closely with the technology team to ensure that the product implementation across underwriting, issuance and claims journeys are as per the designed product and it suitably manages the insurance risk

- Manage a team of product managers, actuaries and analysts to perform the above tasks

Mandatory skills

- In depth experience of pricing or underwriting in the Indian market

- Sharp business acumen to understand insurance product needs and offer solutions accordingly

- Incisive analytical skills to analyze the data in various scenarios such as big data, scanty data and use it to make decisions

Desirable skills

- Prior experience in a pricing actuary role

- Prior experience in working with partners to design insurance solutions

- Current role / qualification in any of the following: MBA / Actuary / Underwriter / Product Manager

Will report to - Appointed Actuary / Chief Underwriter
