Assistant Vice President - Actuarial Analytics - Life Insurance (7-12 yrs)

Role Overview:


- Minimum 7 years- of actuarial experience in life insurance.

- Should be an Associate/Fellow of IFoA, SoA or IAI.

- Experience of working in international markets such as US, UK is preferred. Good working knowledge of PBR, LDTI, IFRS17, Solvency II is mandatory.

- Must have exposure in actuarial modeling, model testing & validation.

- Must have exposure to at-lest one actuarial software such as MG-Alfa, GGY Axis, Prophet. Experience in Python, R, Matlab is desirable but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor- s/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences.

- Affiliation to IAI, SoA or IFOA. Preferably qualified or an associate actuary.

- At least 7+ years- experience, with good understanding of Life products - pricing, modeling, Model testing and valuation

- Exposure to US life insurance market is preferable.

- Experience of working in international markets such as US, UK is preferred. Good working knowledge of PBR, LDTI, IFRS17, Solvency II is mandatory.

- Must have exposure to at-lest one of the actuarial software such as MG-Alfa, GGY Axis, Prophet.

- Experience in Python, R, Matlab is desirable but not mandatory.

- Strong ability to learn technical and business knowledge

- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges

- Is able to understand cross-cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
