Assistant Role - Human Resource - NGO (3-6 yrs)

We are urgently hiring for one of our client organizations which is a reputed international NGO headquartered in Paris, France at their India office in South Delhi.

They have presence in Africa, Asia Pacific, South East Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Europe and North America. Our client provides technical assistance, operational research and education, addressing the challenges of various health problems including tuberculosis, lung disease, etc. in low and middle-income countries.

It is also a Federation of more than 15,000 members and subscribers in 150 countries committed to the same vision: health solutions for the poor. The Organisation helps to promote national autonomy within the framework of the priorities of each country by developing, implementing and assessing anti-tuberculosis, lung health and non-communicable disease programmes as well as other public health issues.

The Position:

Will report to Sr. Manager-HR & Administration

- Manage the end to end recruitment process.

- Review of employee and consultant contracts.

- Ensure that each personnel file has the job description, CV, reference letters, academic and professional qualifications, employment contracts and approved recruitment form, signed Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form, signed Employee Acknowledgement, and any other document required.

- Ensure HR documents (including the USEA Employee Manual, employment and Recruitment Approval Form templates) are updated, when required.

- Update all HR administration templates

- Ensure that the HR database is regularly updated

- Ensure upkeep of record of employee leaves of absence, including annual leave, sick leave, and maternity/paternity leaves etc.

- Ensure that staff contact details (home address, telephone numbers, and emergency contact details in case of emergency) are updated on a regular basis.

Qualifications and Experience:

- MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource in related field or its equivalent.

- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.

- Preferred: experience in development sector.

Competencies and Skills

- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment with strong self-motivation, tact and diplomacy

- Strong knowledge and understanding of TB control program scenario both in the global and Indian context.

- Demonstrated experience in implementation/ support to TB control efforts in India

- Demonstrated experience in working with governments and/or multilateral and bilateral donor agencies in the area of health

- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills to interact with people at all levels in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment

- Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, outlook), Data management software, Internet.

- Excellent drafting and presentation skills including ability to draft clear and concise reports

- Flexibility and willingness to work on a range of tasks

- Willingness to travel within country as per project needs.

- Ability to plan, set priorities, handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
