Assistant Plant Finance Controller - Daman (Manager Level) A canadian based MNC for their plant in Daman, Gujarat is looking for a Asst Plant Finance Controller with PQE (CA) of 5-8 yrs. Experience &amp; Skills: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance, taxation &amp; compliance areas with mid-size organization - Shall be able to communicate clearly in English with Indian and US audience (incumbent will operate from India whilst key stakeholders will be based in US) - Ability to understand fundamental controlling processes / functions in a global company - Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP consolidation and reporting system - Able to work relatively independently for function and also support controlling and reporting needs of parent company - Able to analyse end to end processes to get transparent and reliable management information - Shall be able to review processes, identify risks and put in place remedial measures Good to have: - Experience of international companies to manage core processes - Experience with working in an international matrix organization - Understanding of IFRS/SOX and management reporting Brief Role profile: - Preparation and submission of all reporting on time; ensuring that the quality of figure is reliable for making business decisions - Preparation of annual budget for the company in line with other entities, shall be working closely with CFO and business leaders and other functional heads - Core responsibilities include yearly planning processes, controlling of costs for a given function and actual performance measurement. Product-wise / segment-wise profitability analysis to support management decision - Develop processes to ensure high level of accounting and tax compliances as per IFRS and globally listed organization, keeping in mind SOX compliance - Prepare and comply with GST, customs, EOU and SEZ requirements including statutory filings - Should work closely with the business partners to provide timely information pertaining to cash forecasts and fund requirements Position reports to: CFO
