Our client is one of the top FMCG Distribution companies in the Sultanate of Oman with many leading international brands within its portfolio and managing a multi-million dollar business. Presently, we have been retained to assist them with the sourcing of a - Assistant Trade Marketing Manager- .   The prime objective for this role is to drive accelerated category Growth for our Brands through Innovative Customer Engagement Activities and Equity Building Initiatives.   This role is responsible for aligning all priorities between the Sales Organization and Business Partners and is expected to manage Trade Investments, Monthly initiative planning, Review and provide feedback.  Key Accountabilities of this position are to be:  - Responsible for sales forecasting and developing annual business plan in consultation with the Business head  - Responsible for new product launches of the brands in the market  - Creating trade marketing plans for individual products and product ranges.  - Planning & execution of local tailor-made promotions & sampling activities in coordination with business partner.  - Ensure new products launches are executed on schedule as per Business Partner expectation by working closely with internal and external touch points.   - Prepare monthly brand wise reports and sharing with Business Partners.   - Quarterly reviews with Business Partners and internal sales organization.  - Identify trends in business and highlight areas of concern through detailed analysis of retail audit reports.  - Ensuring effective in-store merchandising as per guidelines set by Business Partners.   - Creating Innovative Point-of-Sale Material (POSM) and display units.  - Market visits to evaluate the effectiveness of implementation and identifying in-store opportunities.   Identify suitable sponsorship opportunities to increase business and brand awareness.  Key Performance Indicators will be:  - Category and channel performance  - Promo Planning and ROI  - A&P Management  - Forecasting accuracy   The ideal candidate should have overall 8 years of experience out of which 4 years of experience in Trade Marketing of FMCG or related products with extensive category knowledge.   Behavioral competencies required are:  - Strong commercial outlook and an ability to drive revenue growth through marketing.  - Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.   - Good team player and motivator.
