Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Lead the compensation and benefits portfolio for the India business (Manufacturing Plants, Sales and Central Functions)
- Regularly review the compensation structure and work on making it more competitive and employee-friendly
- Work extensively on planning and execution of merit planning and ensure a smooth closure on time including various activities of variable pay cycles, salary designing as per the Government norms and internal classification , preparing and distribution of Increment letters etc
- Conduct robust exercise on internal + external benchmarking on salary, job position, job grading etc to analyze and collect market-leading best practices and work to introduce the same in the organization.
- Be able to devise the Total Rewards Strategy for the organization
- Prepares the compensation and benefits budget, including the regular monitoring, reporting and adjusting of the budget
- Design and execute various incentive schemes
- Conduct the Job evaluation exercise - Job Grading and salary banding for the organization.
- Align and integrate the compensation system with local taxation, leave, medical administration etc.
- Develop, administer & benchmark employee benefit programs which include employee insurance programs, employee wellness programs and other general benefits as per HR policies.
- Execute and review HR policies and procedures for assigned departments and be responsible for implementing, monitoring and following up for non-compliance cases
- Policy benchmarking & design of new policies as per the prevailing labour laws and benchmark studies
- Design and implement multiple Reward & Recognition program
- Employee Insurances administration: Annual renewal process, Benchmarking to add more benefits, Monthly Addition Deletion, Handling queries and Settlement
- Support the Talent Acquisition team in salary fitment according to budget, salary ranges and Benchmark.
- Support with developing, managing, and delivering rewards-related training and communication for various stakeholder and leadership teams.
- Manage various HR projects in the areas of HRIS implementation and C&B etc
Expatriate Management:
- Outgoing Expat- Social Security maintenance, Visa and Other services, Gross up salary calculation & Payout, Tax working, Issuance of letters and contract
- Incoming Expat: Visa and Immigration Service, Relocation facility, Bank AC, PAN, FRRO and other documentation, Tax working - with external partners (Deloitte, PWC)
Payroll Administration & Audit:
- Oversee payroll process & compliances
- Handling both internal and external audit of HR, Gratuity and Leave valuation report
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of various activities: Checking of Payroll and Statutory reports, MIS, JV, Provision, Debit Notes and other reports to finance , Full & Final settlement, timely submission of returns, employee queries etc
HRIS and Vendor Management:
- Handle various vendor like Payroll, Company car leasing, employee insurance brokers, Tax consultant, gratuity & leave encashment actuarial, salary Benchmark and Statutory partners
- Supervise the maintenance and updating of personnel information of all employees to ensure accuracy (compensation & benefits package, personal files, leave, time and attendance records etc.)
- Assist in HRIS system related integration and projects

Educational Qualification and Experience
- Master degree in Human Resources
- An excellent command of written and spoken English
- Min 5 years of C&B background. Must have handled C&B tasks independently.
- C&B certification is preferred
- Systematic understanding of total rewards, as well as other HR functions
- It's preferable to have several years of exposure to similar industries, e.g. pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Knowledge about the International Human Resources Standards
- Good command of MS Office applications
