Assistant Manager/Team Lead - Accounts Payable (SAP Knowledge Mandatory)

Role Description:

- This full-time, on-site position at Mynd Integrated Solutions in Bengaluru requires an experienced Assistant Manager/Team Lead with a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) and extensive knowledge of SAP.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, managing vendor queries, and providing detailed reports and analysis.

- The role also involves leading and mentoring a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounts Payable Management: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department, ensuring all invoices are processed timely and accurately.

- Vendor Query Resolution: Handle and resolve vendor queries efficiently, maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations.

- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, review, and present regular reports on Accounts Payable activities, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the Accounts Payable team, ensuring that they are meeting performance standards and deadlines.

- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles, maintaining robust internal controls within the AP function.

- SAP Utilization: Leverage SAP expertise to optimize AP processes, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

- SAP Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in Accounts Payable modules.

- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data and transactions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, team members, and other stakeholders.

- Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and developing a team, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
