Assistant Manager - Taxation - CA - Retail (5-7 yrs)
CA is MUST
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Computation of Tax Liability, Filing of Returns both under existing Indirect Tax Laws and Direct tax laws.
- Preparation of replies to the notices from the department and handling of audit, scrutiny, inspections for Sales tax, Income tax, GST etc.
- Liasoning with the Departmental Officers as and when required basis.
- Interaction with Accounts and other teams on tax related matters.
- Keep update of various case laws, statutory changes to Review & assist in timely finalization of various tax payments and returns.
- Ensuring minimum statutory audits queries & irregularities pointed by internal audit
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- A good understanding and knowledge of indirect taxes and direct taxes including GST laws, VAT, Income tax, Customs etc.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills are required.
- Ability to work well with other departments within the company required.
- Basic computer skills, including Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Chartered Accountant; Professional with 5-7 years of experience
