Qualification: Engineer, with an M. Tech or equivalent in Environmental Engineering

Work experience of 5-6 years in either manufacturing industry or consulting working on the environmental sustainability initiatives with a focus on state-of the-art solutions and ideas. Areas of experience to include climate change (decarbonization, adaptation), water, waste, biodiversity, circularity, environmental due diligence, ESIAs, soil contamination, among others.

Principal Accountabilities

- Work with businesses on the topics of experience listed above to develop, enhance, improve their environmental management systems.

- Support businesses in development and implementation of performance including the publicly declared targets on environmental topics like waste management, water management, GHG emissions.

- Review environmental and social impact assessments for all new projects to ensure businesses meet international standards.

- Conducting EDDs for M&A projects.

- Providing support to major environmental incident investigations.

Skills required - Experience in creation of ESIAs of international standards; conducting EDDs; development and implementation of environmental management plans - overall as well as for specific issues.
