We are currently looking to close an Assistant Manager- Supply Chain Planning position with the topmost FMCG Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based in Kolkata.

Job Title : Assistant Manager Supply Chain

Job Purpose:

To carry out supply chain planning, production planning, materials planning and revisit the existing supply chain system & implement best practices including SAP.

Principal Accountabilities

To carry out manufacturing planning on the basis of FG inventories and the sales estimates

To apply best practices in Supply chain planning across the chain so that fluctuations across can be evened out. All such improvements to be implemented through SAP

To carry out the Materials planning to meet the Manufacturing requirement

To optimize the freight cost by taking overall view of the location of manufacture, RM/PM freight costs and FG freight costs

To set up systems to optimize the levels of inventory of FG at the WSP and different PCP warehouses to improve the availability of the product with minimum inventory cover

Role Requirements

MBA in Supply Chain Management from Premier-schools - NITIE, SP Jain, SJSOM and 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain Planning

Expected remuneration : Approx Rs. 20.0-24.0 lacs per annum.
