Assistant Manager - Supply Chain - FMCG

Distribution Planning

- Generate Distribution Plan at Plant Level as per global Inventory Norms and actual available inventory at Depots

- Co-ordinate with stores and warehouses to ensure smooth execution of dispatch plan

- Execution of constraint packs distribution with adhering the week-wise phasing of sales.

- Follow 4R's (Right SKU, Right Quantity, Right Time, Right Place).

- Monitoring / analysing daily Top Loss packs

- Take suitable actions for slow moving FG inventory to minimize material obsolescence.

- Ensuring hygiene in the processes and systems i.e. FIFO / Substitution

Supply Planning

- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products

- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)

- Collaborate with quality control, Purchase, warehouse and other staff

- Derives Finished Goods (FG's) stock policy using inventory planning models by stock holding location

- Create statistical forecasts for raw material planning

- Optimizes inventory to deliver the demand plan

- Negotiates and influences the decision-making process

Freight Budget

- Preparation of annual Freight budget for Primary Transportation

- Monitor monthly basis Budget vs Plan Vs actual freight

- Liaising with other departments and MIS

- Liaising with the sales for New Product Launch, promotional activities and Demand forecast

- Liaising with production planner for production schedule resulting improving fill rate

- Liaising with Logistics team to get required vehicle on time and ensure that target transit time is achieved

- Publishing various MIS
