Assistant Manager - Supply Chain - FMCG

Principal Accountabilities:

1. E To carry out manufacturing planning on the basis of FG inventories and the sales estimates

2. To apply best practices in Supply chain planning across the chain so that fluctuations across can be evened out. All such improvements to be implemented through SAP

3. To carry out the Materials planning to meet the Manufacturing requirement

4. To optimize the freight cost by taking overall view of the location of manufacture, RM/PM freight costs and FG freight costs

Qualifications Essential: MBA - Supply Chain

Desirable: Premier-schools - NITIE, SP Jain, SJSOM

Work Experience Essential: AUT/1-2 years relevant experience

Desirable:

1. To be able to allocate the program based on sound understanding of cost implications of freight, excise and applicable taxes.

2. Expertise in understanding & using SAP.

3. Knowledge of local taxes and duties applicable in India.

4. Understanding of Plant and Machinery installed factories and their capacities, flexibility and limitations.

5. Understanding of seasonal trends in market as well as seasonal limitations in manufacturing units on account of festivals and other cultural reasons resulting in absenteeism and availability of road transport etc.

6. Familiarity and working knowledge of best practices in Supply Chain management

5. To set up systems to optimize the levels of inventory of FG at the WSP and different PCP warehouses to improve the availability of the product with minimum inventory cover
