Assistant Manager - Supply Chain/Distribution & Logistics - FMCG

Looking for Candidates only from FMCG or Pharna.

Material Planning :

- Analysis of forecast basis Historical trends, Budget, Tenders and forecast from Business Intelligence (Marketing).

- Reconciliation of sales forecast with Hyperion projection,

- Ensure ZBFS forecasts align with Hyperion number (In case of sales projection changes, to notify Finance)

- Review forecast by SKU by brand by segment and updates ZBFS accordingly,

Forecasting of implants in ZBFS and instrument thru set caster

- Prepare & conduct monthly local S&OP meeting with local Finance/Sales& Marketing /

Regulatory Affairs (RA).

- Tracking of forecasts (Weekly) against actual customer orders.

- Demand and Supply review, exception handling.

- Business Assumption tracking (Weekly) with Sales & Marketing.

- Achieve planning accuracy against Net Buy Plan (NBP).

- Calculate Bias/Forecast Accuracy and adjust forecasts accordingly, racking of forecasting accuracy in line with global logistics metrics

- Lead monthly Demand Consensus Review with Region/Global

- Conduct monthly Business review with Country leader/CFO/RA/Business Unit (BU) Head/ Operations

Supply planning :

- Reviews inventory on hand and GIT and scheduled receipts.

- Formulation of supply plan

- Facilitate the Order placement and Material procurement process. Submit purchase order based on MRP run, Monitor & tracking the PO till GRN completion at warehouse.

- Supply and service review (weekly) - Inventory projection/Set Completion & Deployment/Customer Order/Tender/Sample Demo/Long Term Consignment /Short Term Consignment).

- Works closely with Customer Service and warehouse to fulfil segment specific orders/ Business opportunity.

- Review safety stock every quarter according to sales performance.

- Redeployment/Return/balancing of excess inventory (Consider Planning Time Fence)

- Review of any current shortages versus demand (inventory management of SKUs) current backorders and expected delivery dates

- Updates on any future supply disruption (i.e. inform Marketing if any of the planned orders impacted by supply issues)

- Confirmation of what is in the plan and expected delivery dates, especially for key NPIs and focus product (this is what is asked for; this is what is coming)

- Review of NPI orders (what was forecast; confirm POs have been raised; delivery as expected).

- Source and prepare inventory and instruments for consignment.

- Monitor consignment performance and communicate underperforming sites to product management in agreement with product managers.

- Monitor instrument usage and release instruments to fixed assets as required and according to forecasts and budgets.

- Monitor instrument budget against releases and report to finance.

- Assist Supply Chain Manager with co-ordination and conducting stock-takes or cycle counting processes.

- Assist finance department with purchase price variance questions.

- Carry out other duties as required

- Manage accurate Inventory and the relevant documentation

- Mange internal and external audits.

Import Clearance :

- Manage CHA's independently to handle the segment specific import shipments.

- Distribution and Logistics

- Manage Zimmer Biomet warehouse independently and resolve customer grievances.

- Responsible for recruitment of Freight forwarders and transporters, Negotiate rates etc.

Statutory Compliance and Commercial :

- Co-ordination with Sales tax consultant for Chennai and Ahmedabad warehouses

- Sales Tax recon on a monthly basis

- Status of C forms, F forms etc and follow up

- Sales Tax Assessment on a yearly basis.

- Focal point for communication to sales personnel on distributor non- compliance issues.

MIS :

- Monthly MIS as per agreed templates.

- Reduce distribution expenses on an ongoing basis.
