Overall purpose of job :

Responsible will ensure Stock Management and Order Execution to all Foods Businesses by working with CFAs /Depots to service orders - On Time & Complete. He will target to manage all stocking points with complete compliance to all Statutory, Regulatory and Other required GMP & Hygiene requirements. Team will optimize distribution cost across CFA / Depot network.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

Customer Service :

- Interact with sales team on day to day basis on issues related to services from CFA & Secondary Transport vendors.

- Interact with commercial team in resolution of errors faced by CFA team w.r.t to Sales Order upload, Credit blocks, banking instrument detachment, sales return accounting, invoice entry corrections etc.

- Interact with IT - System team for resolution of system errors faced by CFA.

- Interact with secondary transport team to ensure timely deliveries to customers.

- Resolution of customer issues & Increase Customer Contact.

Operation Controls :

- Intervene and facilitate smooth day to day operations of CFA affairs in liaison with all other functions.

- Monitoring, Review & Control of Ageing stocks, Damage/Leakages & Expiry of Products.

- Interact with sales team for timely liquidation of aging stocks - Raising 2nd level alert, Con Call discussion with RBMs and escalation to next level.

- Interact with operation team in getting adequate repacking material for damage stocks redressal.

- Get rates from CFA/ASM and forward proposal for liquidation of damage stocks as loose.

- Monitory regularly loose conversion recovery to sustain expected levels at CFAs.

- Inventory Accuracy - Inventory Stock count accuracy of 99% for every month

- Periodic depot audits - Stock, Legal, Commercial and report and identify reasons of variance and closure.

- Visit to all depots once a quarter & large depots once a month.

- Drive Depot improvement projects and enhance depot capabilities through visit feed backs & trainings.

- Secondary Transport coordination and ownership.

Compliances :

- To look after Legal Compliances of Depots. (FSSAI, CFA Agreements & Other Licenses related to CFA) for the region.

- Ensure all statutory licenses are available at the depot and same are updated and displayed.

- Highlight to HO team about renewals of agreements / licenses

- Resolving CFA Audit Issues raised by Commercial & 3P Audit agencies.

Cost & CEP :

- Approvals on CFA spends as per agreed COA.

- Monthly CFA/Secondary Bill certification and follow-up with HO/Finance for bill payment settlement.

- Preparation of all base proposal for the depots for approval from HO.

- Quarterly NDC Closure for each CFA/Secondary Transport partners.

- Identify Cost saving opportunities & drive regional cost saving programs.

- Do market survey for secondary freight rates and share the same with secondary team for timely correction and cost benefits

Customer Order Management & Service :

- Track & Improve Customer Order Service Level - Explore how to capture this

- Customer Service Level (captured through quarterly surveys) 80%

- Monthly Meeting with ASMs and DIO / CFA teams

- Inventory Management:

- Zero expiry of stocks at warehouse.

- Maintain products "To be Repacked" below 0.5% of the Monthly Closing Stocks.

- Maintain damage products "To be sold in loose form or processed" below 0.5% of the Monthly Closing Stocks.

- Stock at Warehouse more than 3 months old 0.5 % of Monthly Closing Stocks

- 99% Inventory Accuracy

- Leakage/ Damage Reduction:

- On-time replenishment of CLDs to Distributors - within 7 days from request

- Reduction in damage/leakage while storage at Depot - Improving Trend

- Improve recovery % to 75% during conversion of damage to loose.

Demand Planning :

- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

- Interact with sales, marketing, and other concerns to understand demand forecast drivers.

- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.

- Challenge the forecasts from the sales teams and the usual runs (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets...) with relevant data analysis.

- Lead S&OP cycle including running of pre S&OP and monthly S&OP meetings.

- Review of all on site medium to long term planning systems

- Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.

- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs in coordination with concern functional team members.

- Drive statistical forecast on regular basis, analyze it and present it to management.

- Review sales plan, Latest forecast Estimates and demand drivers:

- Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales, and finance

- Review promotional plans with sales & marketing

- Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and finance personnel

- Provide input to volume planning (Latest Estimates / annual process)

- Facilitate and manage demand planning/customer meetings

- Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain

- Maintain demand planning system and software

- Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy

- Monitor trends in forecast error

- Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence Supply Planning:-

- Collaborate with internal and external stake holders to prioritize and deliver product to meet the business requirement

- Develop detailed understanding of manufacturing constraints and capabilities of the manufacturing locations being planned, providing regular feedback and information to drive medium term tactical and long-term strategic discussion.

- To develop supply plan in line with optimal total delivered cost across the function in alignment with finance and supply chain function with assurance of supplies as per business needs.

- Drive distribution planning with orientation to optimize inventory across the organization for RMPM &Finished good products

- To build the capacities for future based on sales demand and trends.

- Communicate with production facilities and Corporate Supply Chain team as well as Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Customer Service.

- Keep all stakeholders apprised of potential problems or issues impacting the business, including risks and opportunities.

- Oversee inventory and supply planning responsibilities for assigned plants including replenishment and stock transfers

- Daily review on production plans with plant team members & concerned stake holders

- Focus on Modern Trade / E-com business requirements & meet the demand as per desired schedules and freshness norms.

- Assess current inventory levels and forecasts to make appropriate business decisions that minimize working capital and achieve corporate working capital and service level objectives.

- Actively participate and support successful coordination with involved stakeholders for any NPD launches and R&D trails

Managing all internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth SCM operations

Education, qualifications, special training, experience and skills :

Years of Experience: Five years of SCM functional experience in planning / distribution / warehousing industry. FMCG experience would be preferred.

Education/Training : BBA / BE /B Tech. Engineer degree any branch. MBA in operations regular/distance learning would be preferred
