Assistant Manager - Sales - Steel Products Manufacturing Firm (5-9 yrs)
Role Purpose: To develop & establish, a presence of the company on the African continent.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: (HIGHLIGHT CRITICAL ACTIVITIES)
1. Mapping of sales opportunities across the different countries in Africa along with relevant customer categories & products.
2. To put in a detailed sales & business development plan on how to penetrate in Africa w.r.t. visible opportunities, modus operandi to pursue, expected turnover, etc.
3. To prepare a case study as a post factor analysis for each sales plan against respective countries.
4. Utilize available resources such as tender portals & online forums to identify leads for our product range and pursue them in line with our business policies.
5. Have the marketing department aligned to assist with lead generation.
6. Communication: Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs, solving client problems throughout the process/ project
Generating RFP's / RFQ's from customers, offering quotations, identifying the point of contacts to crack the deal, maintaining client contact data, handling techno-commercial discussions, etc. resulting in closing the deal.
7. Solution Designing: Need identification & understanding the problem statement and propose suitable solution to the client
8. Ensure timely collection
9. MIS: Preparing timely reports
10. Interdepartmental coordination & collaboration: Coordination with Sales Support, Estimation, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics as well as Plants people for smooth execution of the project
