Position: Assistant Manager Roles and Responsibilities: - To recognise the scope of risk and to execute requests of medium complexity risk assessments, tropical analysis . - To produce accurate, relevant and insightful analysis within timelines . - To understand the business context on the request and to determine the scope of research efforts. - Need to work on different databases to conduct in depth secondary research . - To read and interpret financial statements and perform basis financial analysis. - To conduct research on business performance . - To provide guidance to junior team members in research reports . - To focus on stakeholder concerns and suggestions. Candidate Required: Formal Qualification : - BS/MS from a well accredited university - Candidates holding degree in MBA/ CA/CFA/GARP/LM1/LM2 will be given preference Experience and skills : - Working experience of minimum 2 to 6 years in industry/country/business/market research . - Experience in researching on financial services. - Experience of working with an international based insurance/reinsurance/insurance broking/consulting firm of global repute will be given preference - Good understanding of one or more sub sectors covered by the financial services sector in one geography - Critical thinking and problem solving skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills, planning and organising skills. - Expertise in Porter 5 force Model,PESTLE,SWOT and in databases like Bloomberg and Factiva, free sources such as IMF/world bank databases.
