Assistant Manager - Recruitment - BPO (5-6 yrs)

Role: Assistant Manager

Function: Human Resources

Sub-function: Recruitment

Reporting to: Manager

Management of: Senior Executive(s), Executive(s)

Role Objective :

To manage relationships with recruitment agencies, meet hiring targets within set timeframes and budgets, manage and develop team of Executives and Senior Executives and initiate special projects in recruitment.

Professional Know-how : Academic: Graduation (any discipline) + MBA

Experience:

- At least 5 years in HR with 3 years in recruitment

- Experience in the BPO sector is preferred

Primary Responsibilities :

- Manage recruitment (for the assigned levels) for allocated business lines and functions through external (recruitment consultants, job portals) and internal (IJP, employee referrals) sources;

- Screen candidates through primary interviews (external candidates) and online testing (internal candidates for IJPs);

- Assist Manager in finalizing skills assessments along with external agencies, driving employee referral schemes and other special projects;

- Coordinate with prospective candidates for pre-joining and on-boarding formalities;

- Coordinate with training on new hire joining;

- Refine selection process constantly to make it more relevant. Implement new and innovative methods in sourcing and hiring including usage of social media, job portals etc.

- Generate MI reports and dashboards for stakeholders (business lines, Company clients), especially at the time of process migrations / transitions;

- Identify, negotiate with and process contracts for vendors (recruitment consultants, skills assessment agencies), serving as the single point of contact for vendor administration; and

- Coach, guide and support team to achieve individual and team objectives.

- Conduct reference check for the candidates before releasing the offer for Team Manager and above roles.

- Ensure all hiring is as per budgets and adhere with Manpower requisition approvals and recruitment process

- Has supervisory or people management responsibility, with a particular emphasis on maximizing the performance of those that work for them. Is responsible for an element of business unit performance e.g. sales targets, customer service levels. Champions TCF among team ensuring it is built into all relevant objectives.

- Outcome 5: Consumers are provided with products that perform as firms have led them to expect, and the associated service is both of an acceptable standard and as they have been led to expect

- Outcome 6: Consumers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers imposed by firms to change product, switch provider, submit a claim or make a complaint
