Assistant Manager - Purchase - Manufacturing Firm (2-5 yrs)

Noida/Hyderabad Job Code: 983433

Responsibilities :

- Build & drive end to end relationship with all primary (JSPL / JSW / TATA / SAIL / Electrosteel / Electrotherm / Apollo etc.) & top secondary steel manufactures (Kamachi / Essar / Sangam / GK TMT / Jai Balaji etc.)

- Work with the regional supply network by understanding the nature of requirements coming from the respective sales teams and ensure we have the right set of suppliers in place to meet Inquiry to Sales Conversion %

- Drive the procurement team of Zetwerk (The procurement team is responsible to get the raw material for all projects which are executed by Zetwerk) by closing working with the Estimations & Delivery teams of various Business Units

- Negotiate the best pricing, pay terms & volume discounts with key Steel Manufacturers

- Responsible for on-time delivery and quality of the material

Special Note - We need to have someone who has done steel sourcing from all primary mills, not someone who has done the sourcing in those mills only. To explain, we buy steel products that are manufactured in those mills, the purchase guy sitting in the mill will buy raw material which is required to manufacturing the steel product. E.g buying wood to make furniture is different from buying furniture

- Hard Negotiator

- Strong people skills - amazing rapport building ability and relationship management skills

- Strong Analytical skills / Numbers with respect to Margins, Profitability & Cost of Capital

- Leadership & Team Management Skills

- Strong existing network with relationships with all major steel manufacturers
