Assistant Manager - Production Planning Control - Elevator Industry (6-9 yrs)

Establish and maintain long-term working relationships or partnerships between the sales team, factory and internal departments.

Assist in negotiation of contracts (orders) with customers with the defined lead times.

Coordinating with Customer for freezing Sales Plan every month.

Accommodating the preponement requests from sales team for early delivery of contracts (orders)

Load (Customer order) leveling of daily production plan thereby reducing the fluctuation in entire chain for smooth execution of contracts.

Sequencing and balancing of schedules received from sales team and incorporating the same in production plan based on the capacity of the production line.

Planning day-to-day activities pertaining to production and shipments; monitoring the production and suppliers material availability thereby ensuring smooth operations & achieving monthly production and shipment targets.

Close interaction with sales team and releasing the monthly rolling forecasts to internal depts. with accuracy of - 90%.

Identify and analyses economic developments in the market.

Should have excellent cross functional experience consisting of Sales/Production/ SCM/Logistics/Engg.

Daily/Weekly/Monthly Contract (order) reviews with sales and internal teams.

Coordinate customer inspection activities in the factory.

Maintain records related to ISO 9000 procedures.

Suggest improvements in system & methods relating to contract control

Monitor & follow up on the progress.

Should have knowledge of Lean Management Systems.

Co-ordinate ACE activities for contract management.

Manage feedback system of different regions every half yearly.

Facilitate effective implementation of contract responsibilities with program objectives and requirements.

Maintain excellent feedback system from customers.

Manages the proper coordination of various types of agreements, subcontracts and other contract/legal documents.

Provides advice and assistance to help others accomplish their work.

Educational Qualification: Mechanical & Production / Industrial in Engineering from a reputed institution.

- Should have 6-8 years of experience in Production, Planning & control. Should have handled the PPC function independently.

- Good Communication skill & interpersonal skill

- Establishes effective working relationships among team members. Participates in solving problems and making decisions.

- Possess analytical & problem solving ability.

- Ability to work as a team.
