Assistant Manager - Procurement & Supply Chain - Infrastructure (4-6 yrs)
Procurement & Supply Chain - AM
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
2. Good knowledge of vendor base and basic technical specifications of items to be procured.
3. New Vendor Identification and Development.
4. Vendor negotiations with good knowledge of commodity markets.
5. Logistics, warehousing, import clearance knowledge would be an added benefit.
6. Implementation of sourcing and supply chain strategy of the company as driven by its business plan.
7. Contract management and negotiations for outsourcing of services and materials.
8. Benchmarking of prices with the market as well as competitors.
9. Basic commercial knowledge pertaining to customer invoicing, GST, etc.
10. Routine jobs and documentation like PO generation, follow up for timely deliveries, vendor payments and reconciliation, project costing etc
11. Creation of RFQ's for vendor bids and quote comparison for awarding business.
12. Close team work with Engineering and Project Execution teams.
Key requirements :
1. Solar industry knowledge would be an added advantage
2. Willingness to work in a startup with tight resources and hands on work environment.
3. Positive attitude with willingness to work across functional boundaries
