JiffyShip Cargo Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd.: JiffyShip is a young company that is addressing one of the largest industries in dollar terms and by volume of transactions - International Shipping and Logistics. We are a start-up that is backed by an International Private Equity firm with a successful portfolio of investments in large profitable companies worldwide. The opening at JiffyShip is for a role that will help us develop our business channel in India. The key highlights of this role are as follow.

Responsibilities: -

1. Individual will be responsible for complete sales ownership of customer

2. Build and maintain relationships with customers and grow customer base.

3. Follow up on leads provided by BU's to get the business on-board.

4. Negotiating sales deals with customers and following up on a regular basis

5. Achievement and monitoring of individual/ team sales targets by maintaining robust sales pipeline and providing guidance to sales professionals.

6. Achieve budgeted margins for business

7. Responsible for entire customer acquisition process from lead generation to final closure

8. One should have market intelligence and should act as a liaison between the customers and operations staff

9. Liaise with customers on payments as well as address shipping or quality issues to maintain a strong business relationship

10. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry in CRM

11. Follow up with proposed customers for unfinished bookings on platform.

Skills:-

1. Excellent written and verbal communication, complemented by good listening and presentation skills

2. Should be able to handle multiple open items on a daily basis and prioritize work time through effective planning

3. Is familiar with digital technologies, advancements in the digital logistics sector and is comfortable with digital technology products

4. Proven ability to close sales contracts and maintain a high client retention
