Assistant Manager/Manager - Sales - Hospitality (5-7 yrs)

The Dukes Retreat is an up market resort, nestled in the middle of the nature and offers a great view of the famous cliff of Western Ghats hill road in Khandala. We offer 80 well-appointed Deluxe Rooms, Executive Rooms and Cottage with fantastic views of the hills and farms in the surrounding area. We have 8 conference rooms with modern equipment and conference facilities. Dukes Retreat has developed a reputation for excellent corporate hospitality and is the preferred venue for a number of preeminent national and multi-national corporate.

Sales department are our ambassadors as they are the first point of contact for the hotel and are involved in dealing with the rates and selling services to our guests

Sales Managers should be able to do market research, attract corporates, individual guests, wedding guests, parties, events, etc. They should be able to maintain reports for data management and analysis and forecasting

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet / exceed revenue goals

- Manage Sales through a variety of sources including telephone, field sales calls, in market events, site inspections, email blasts, direct mail campaigns, entertainment, industry related meetings, etc

- Prepare correspondences to client in many different forms

- Delphi utilization and data management, generation of booking reports, proposals, etc.

- Participate in reviews, training, other sales-related meetings as required

- Market Research on market trends, competition reviews and other hotel related events that you should take initiative to participate in.

- Manage the team of reservation and sales team

- Work on different packages of rooms, F&B, pool, conferences, etc for guests to increase revenues

- Manage the ARR/ Occupancy % as per targets

- Coordinate with the Front Office Team for guest experience

- Coordinate with the guests and all stakeholders on services and rates committed

- Forecast, plan and implement details on how to meet the revenue targets

- Drive creative ideas on increasing guest satisfaction and revenues

- Train the team on sales and customer service

- 6 -7 years of Sales experience

- Hospitality Experience mandatory

- Knowledge of Excel and Sales Software

- Good Customer Handling Skills

- Team Management Skills

- Should be self-motivated

- Should have the zeal to exceed give targets
