Assistant Manager/Manager - Financial Reporting - US GAAP (4-10 yrs)

About the Role:
Position summary & Main tasks/activities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly US GAAP financial statements including cash flow statement
- Assist with preparing annual US GAAP financial statements and footnotes disclosures
- Prepare monthly and quarterly flux reports at the FS level view
- Assist with review of monthly balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations
- Assist with lender compliance reporting and the presentation of non-GAAP measures included in the quarterly and annual reports
- Assist with financial reporting deliverables for management and external stakeholders that include but not limited to the following: management and lender presentation packages
- Address ad-hoc reporting requests from other functions within the organization
- Coordinate and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
- Assist with company's interim and annual external audit requests
- Accounting research and documentation for non-standard transactions and new accounting pronouncements
Job Description
- Public accounting experience (Big Four or other national firm equivalent) preferred
- Experience with lease accounting ASC 840 and/or ASC 842 implementation would be preferred but required
- 4-5 years of public and/or private experience preferred
- CPA/ CA or equivalent charter license preferred
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Oracle with the latter preferred but not required
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of all aspects of general accounting including financial statement reporting, presentation, balance sheet and cash flow reporting and classification
- Strong work ethic with a can-do mindset
