Assistant Manager/Manager/Financial Controller - Broking Firm (5-10 yrs)

- To account for financial transactions, prepare financial statements; manage requirements /queries of statutory & internal audit, inspection, and other regulatory reporting.

- Create and provide data/reports for internal management usage

- To Contribute to technology & other functional initiatives

- Recording and Accounting of business transactions, Reconciliation between subsystems, Preparing statements for Regulatory Reporting as per agreed timelines

- To prepare and keep updating process documents and ensure adherence to the same

- To co-ordinate activities within the LOB and another team to ensure completion of job objective

- Provide data to Auditors and manage first level Audit queries and replies

- Assist with Technology Projects (Functional Analysis, UAT and Go Live Phase)

- Graduate /CA Inter

- Post Graduate Degree or Professional Qualifications (preferred but not necessary)

- Upto5 years& 5-10 Years (AM/M) (preferably from Securities Broking industry, but not necessary)

- Operational level knowledge of General Accounting, Banking Systems, enabling auditing, assisting/preparing statements for Regulatory Reporting of the legal entity/ group, IndAS knowledge preferred

- Operational level knowledge of Accounting Software, Microsoft Office and ERP

- Good Communication Skills (Written and Oral)

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to think and analyze information to find solutions

- Meet end-customer expectations w.r.t. timelines and quality

- For routine accounting and reporting related coordination, MIS & Project specific tasks

- Coordinate for various automation initiatives/projects and reports

- Provide data to Auditors and manage first level Audit queries and replies

- Provide data to Consultants and arrange for certifications
