Primary Responsibilities:

- Work closely with senior Marketing professionals on projects of strategic nature relating to Product and Customer strategy, leveraging competitive information and external data

- Provide actionable inputs and insurance product roadmap based on thorough assessment of external landscape, competitors and environment

- Provide regular quantitative reporting on market sales trends and competitive sales data across annuity and life insurance markets

- Leverage internal data and external databases along with strong secondary research capability to answer specific business problems

- Package research data and insights into compelling storyboards for senior leadership consumption

- Suggest frameworks, approaches and mechanisms institutionalize/ guide proactive, relevant and timely intelligence delivery to leaders

Desired Candidate profile:

- Masters degree/ diploma with specialization in Marketing

- 6- 12 years of relevant Competitive Insights, Consulting and Market research experience

- Minimum 3- 4 years of relevant experience in the Annuities space

- Exposure to an understanding of the dynamics of Insurance industry would be a plus

- In-depth understanding of the Variable Annuities product and industry and demonstrated experience of leveraging the same along with CI skills to solve business strategy and marketing problems

- Proven expertise in CI frameworks and databases. Deep quantitative skills and high level of proficiency in Excel to analyse and report on Industry data and trends

- Very good understanding, experience and application of known Industry and Market analyses frameworks

- Highly advanced and evolved communication and storyboarding skills

- Good understanding of Primary research and demonstrated knowledge of integrating internal and external data to solve business issues

- Prior experience in seeding and building CI practice from a scratch
