Assistant Manager/Manager - Business Development - Greenfield Solar/Wind Projects (5-10 yrs)
Your role:
In your role as Assistant Manager/Manager - Business Development (Wind), you will be reporting to the Head- Wind Development in India. The following tasks are part of your job profile:
About you:
- Manage development of greenfield solar and wind projects by effective coordination/collaboration with internal teams; Experience about project development process would be added advantage.
- For existing technologies/business models, improve and streamline greenfield project offerings from technical, commercial, market, financing, governance, and regulatory aspects.
- Understand industry, peers, competitors, and suppliers and monitor the industry in terms of markets, customers, competitive activity, project development, technological changes, and new offerings etc.
- Support the various project activities on regulatory assessment, land acquisition and permits and approvals etc.
- Keep track of emerging technologies and analyze and identify new business areas and business models in clean energy segment, originate new business opportunities and drive development of initial pilots/projects.
- Contribute to strategy development and continuous updating about new business areas.
- Ensure compliance to internal policies and business framework.
We look for experienced Manager/Assistant Manager Business Development personnel with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. That includes:
- Bachelor's in engineering or Business from a reputed Institute/University with contractual and commercial insight and preferably Masters in Business Administration or Management
- 5 to 10 years in renewable/clean energy industry.
- Expertise in strategy, market analysis and business model development in renewable energy industry.
- Expertise in techno-commercial and financial assessment of business models and projects including financial modelling.
- Existing network of stakeholders, project developers and customers
- Good understanding of project development processes, local laws and regulatory framework related to project licensing, permits etc. for renewable energy projects.
