- Should have knowledge of accounting, taxation, internal controls and processes   - Must be proficient in Tally ERP   Finance management :   - Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and monitor compliance with the same;   - Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure compliance with the same;   - Maintain an orderly accounting filing system;   - Monitor and ensure the application of documented controls over accounting transactions; &   - Monitor compliance with documented policies and procedures relating to procurement, purchase & sale of fixed assets, inventory management, sales, treasury management, invoicing & expenses & loans to staff.   Transactions :   - Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner, as per specified terms;   - Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable;   - Monitor accounts receivable and liaise with operations on outstanding receivables;   - Monitor customer discounts;   - Reconcile cancelled invoices/certificates;   - Process payroll in a timely manner   - Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed every month.   Reporting :   - Issue timely and complete monthly MIS to the promoters and chief executive officer of the two Companies.   - Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to the promoters and chief executive officer of the two Companies   - Provide financial analysis as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.   Compliance :   - Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit;   - Maintain company law records which include preparing the notice & director's reports, updating board meeting minutes, general meeting minutes   - Monitor compliance with local, state and central government reporting requirements and tax filings
