Hiring for Assistant Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain position with a leading FMCG conglomerate. Candidates from Premier B-Schools NITIE, IIMs, SPJIMR, XLRI - 2016/2017 batch, having 1-4 years experience in logistics, transportation and warehouse need apply.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for warehouse management, inventory management and transportation.
2. Co-coordinating with vehicles for day to day operations.
3. Look after primary and secondary transportation.
4. Co-coordinating with factories and transporter for daily operations focusing on truck up sizing with better utilization to reduce freight cost
5. Truck up sizing with better utilization to reduce freight cost
6. Identify and on board new vendors for better flexibility and service level
7. Performance drop root cause analysis and identify solutions to rectify the issues
8. Looking for vehicle diversion, empty run or market hire to minimize delay placement cases
