Assistant Manager - Legal


Company : A leading NBFC of a large Business Conglomerate

Position : Asst.Manager - Legal

Location : Bangalore

Role Details :

- To handle efficiently Civil, Criminal and Consumer cases for and against the Company

- NPA Recovery - To initiate suitable legal action and proceedings

- Filing of Arbitration cases for awards and ensure completion of arbitration process in least time and close the case through Execution Petition / Negotiated settlement

- NCLT Cases - Assisting in managing the NCLT cases filed in the respective location

- To proactively file legal cases in High Value contracts for attachment of bank accounts and thru other legal recourses.

- Recovery from Loss on Sale (G-FLAG)


- To initiate arbitration proceedings, get award, Execution of EP to recover the shortfall on sale of assets

- Litigations of Regulatory Authorities viz RTO, Sales Tax,etc


- To properly handle the litigations and liaise with the concerned authorities for resolution, keep the HO updated

Qualification and Experience :

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Law in regular stream from a recognized college / university with minimum 50% aggregate marks

- Total around 5 to 7 years' experience and currently working with a Banking or NBFC Company

Proficiency :

- MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook

Other Attributes:

- Self-starter and ability to work under deadlines

- Excellent inter personal & Communication Skills

- Flair of local language and Geography - Bangalore, Karnataka
