Manager - Legal - MNC consumer Durable Major

Job Role and Responsibilities :

- Dealing with Copyright / IPR related matters including vetting of all types of agreements, drafting legal notices for infringements and coordinating with lawyers towards infringement claims.

- Preparing and discussing strategy for IPR related matters with Senior counsels .

- Drafting and vetting of Agreements and Contracts .

- Solely handling the areas around drafting and issuing Power of Attorneys, to Cos Internal Stakeholders & subsidies.

- Handling consumer complaint cases for pan India which includes drafting notices, written statements, handling and coordinating with advocates across the country, seeking evidence, filing appeals, etc.

- Legal Research work for providing inputs to the hierarchy on various confidential matters.

- To liaise with company lawyers, prepare and vetting of legal agreements required by the company on a regular basis.

- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory registers.

- Research involving the Legal Metrology Act and rules, Various labour laws, Companies Act, Competition law and giving opinions on the same.

Candidate Requirement :

LLB from "government Law College " Mumbai ( For Local Candidates )

LLB from " National Law Universities " ( For Outstation Candidates )

Should have worked in a Manufacturing Setup

Should have a thorough knowledge of IPR, Legal Metrology ( Patent, Weight & Mesurement )

Reporting to Legal Head
