Assistant Manager - Legal - LLB/LLM (5-6 yrs)
The client is an MNC Company seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our legal team and support Customer contracts. The primary focus of this role will be to provide legal support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, BIDs/RFP documents and other transactional documents like Engagement Letters, NDA, NOCs, etc., for sales department through contract management tool, maintaining the MIS tracker, processing in-voices from law firms, and handling customer recovery matters. The ideal candidate will have strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Draft, review, and negotiate sales and procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain an MIS tracker to monitor contract status, key milestones, and renewal dates.
- Process invoices received from law firms, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Handle customer recovery matters, including assessing claims, initiating legal actions, and negotiating settlements.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, finance, and operations, to provide legal guidance and support on business initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and memos as required.
- Assist in developing and updating legal policies, procedures, and templates.
- LLB/LLM with Minimum 5 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a law firm, focusing on contract drafting and negotiation.

- Experience with contract management tools and systems is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in real estate matters and customer recovery is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and legal principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and interpretation skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple transactions.
