Assistant Manager - Legal - IT - LLB (3-10 yrs)
1. Individual contributor to the Legal and Compliance team of Organization, who will provide in-house legal support with a focus on complex contracts both domestic and international.
2. Must have a good understanding of Contract Law, IPR law, and Privacy law and an attitude of amicable approach to resolving issues of inside and outside stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Draft, negotiate and timely close a wide variety of complex commercial transactions, vendor Agreements, amendments, and other contractual terms in collaboration with all stakeholders.
2. Resolve day-to-day queries regarding IP matters.
3. Anticipate and identify legal/risk issues of concern to contracts and mitigate such risk with practical solutions and problem-solving approaches.
4. Handle complete contract execution process and maintain the central repository of contracts.
5. Advising and providing in-house legal support to the organization.
Skills :
1. Knowledge of IT and Software industry contracting practices, including detailed working knowledge of IP, Privacy, Contract laws across major geographies of the world.
2. Analytical skills - should be able to use the best judgment, analyze facts and draw logical conclusions of the issues.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualification & Experience:
Should be a Law Graduate / LLB with 3 to 10 years of experience in IT Contracts from IT Industry or Law Firms.
