Assistant Manager - Legal - Infrastructure - LLB

Salary Offered : 8-15 LPA

Job Requirements :

- Candidates from renewable energy company should only apply.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Legal compliance

- BA LLB qualified.

- Should have experience on company's compliance and periodic compliance.

- Should have done statutory approvals.

- Should have experience on land related compliance.

- Good verbal communication skills.

Job Description :

1. The incumbent will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts for all kinds for the Company.

2. The incumbent will be responsible for the Company's compliance under various laws and contracts, including PPAs.

3. The incumbent will work with the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance under the Companies Act, Land related compliance and other processes, Permits & Approvals etc.

4. Will be responsible for periodic compliance reviews and reporting.

5. Clearance, Permits & Approvals :

a) Statutory Approvals - Factory License, Labour related

b) Shop & Establishment Act

c) Fire NoC

d) Prepare, own, maintain and update risk register on regular basis.

6. Land related :

a) Managing compliances for land (Private, Govt, Revenue, leased land etc)

b) Validating lease, sale deed, other land related documents, legal diligence of title

c) Identify and take on board the local legal counsel for evaluation of title documents and preparation of execution documents.

d) Maintaining Depository of all land related documents

e) Assist business teams in de-risking the land acquisition process

7. PPA :

a) Identification, finalisation of counsels for representation at SERC, APTEL.

b) Firming up views in consultation with business teams, briefing to counsels prior to hearing.
