Assistant Manager - Legal - Data Center Business - LLB/LLM (6-8 yrs)
One of the Leading companies in Data Center business is hiring for a young & promising Legal professional to join their Legal Team based in Mumbai location.
Deliverables from role holder :
- Draft, review, and negotiate sales and procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain an MIS tracker to monitor contract status, key milestones, and renewal dates.
- Process invoices received from law firms, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Handle customer recovery matters, including assessing claims, initiating legal actions, and negotiating settlements.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, finance, and operations, to provide legal guidance and support on business initiatives.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and memos as required.
- Assist in developing and updating legal policies, procedures, and templates.
Skills/Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB ) or Master's degree in law or relevant specialization is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a law firm, focusing on contract drafting and negotiation.
- Experience with contract management tools and systems is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in real estate matters and customer recovery is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and legal principles.
