Assistant Manager - Learning & Development - BFS (2-4 yrs)

Summary :

- Be responsible for the Learning and Development mandate as a part of the overall Talent Development approach.

About the role :

The manager, Learning & Development (L&D), is a key member of the HR team.

- The primary responsibility of the role is to work with key stakeholders and teams to determine the training needs, develop appropriate training programs based on such needs, manage coordination/delivery of L&D programs in region, identify L&D opportunities based on benchmarks with similar organisations, provide regional administration support, including LMS and other learning tools, invoicing, and expenses processing.

Key responsibilities will include :

- To identify learning and development needs develop targeted solutions, and drive delivery L&D programs

- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business services division, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless training delivery

- Communicate with Shared Services HR teams, Regional HR teams, global L&D teams in the development and execution of L&D programs

- Manage L&D activities prioritizing key initiatives. Manage administration/coordination of pre- and post-program logistics, training facility set up, facility and vendor management, material and resource coordination, attendance and evaluation metrics, etc

- Manage curriculum calendars, monitor budget and costs, and drive annual L&D calendar planning and budget preparation process

- Respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner, help market and communicate appropriate L&D services and curriculum offerings, provide support and directions regarding logistics and L&D tools/systems, gather relevant information from clients to help L&D team determine appropriate solutions and improvements

- Administer/support My Learning (LMS) - set-up, monitor, and maintain L&D programs, set-up business-specific programs and respond to inquiries; assist with reporting and metrics

- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure high quality services and cost efficiency, develops strong external relationships/network to identify innovations, new services, and industry best practices

- Align talent development initiatives in line with the talent management principles in order to maintain a healthy leadership pipeline

- Contribute towards organisation wide employee engagement and diversity initiatives
