Assistant Manager - Inventory Planning/Supply Chain - Retail (3-7 yrs)
Position:
Assistant Manager- Inventory Planning (Supply Chain) (Leading Retail Company)
Role:
- Ensure opening day availability of 96%+ for all new stores
- Calculate store wise stock requirement accurately to ensure optimal stock availability at all time
- Regularly interact with Stores to gather insights and information on promotion plan
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns, propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Forecasting and planning activity on top selling SKUs based on subcategories, segments, brands
- Identify slow moving SKUs & supply from Vendor Fill rate from DCs & Stores to optimize inventory and ageing stocks
- Working out on weekly basis for stock availability in auto replenishment SKUs through category meetings
- Provide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customer reactions to the promotions and discounts
Requirements:
- MBA
- 3-6 yrs of experience
- Should have hands on experience working in a similar role in Inventory Planning/ Demand Forecasting preferably from Retail/ FMCG/ ECommerce Industries
- Should be very good in excel
- Good Communication Skills
