Assistant Manager - HR - Payroll & Statutory Compliance - Retail Lifestyle Brand (5-7 yrs)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES OF THIS JOB :-
Manpower planning & Recruitment:
- Manage hiring and selection.
- Ensure smooth delivery targets & TAT for multiple locations within assigned areas
HR Services
- Prepare the induction schedule in coordination with the functional head & facilitate the same.
- Prepare & update induction materials on a regular basis.
- Maintain HR employee handbook, workflow and procedures.
- Monitor HR daily operation and workflows efficiency, maintain HR database and employees- personal files;
Employee Engagement :
- Suggest and lead events and activities which enhance employee relationship, motivation and commitment in workplace
- Handle staff grievance and workplace conflict.
- Regular communication with employees. Understand concern and address/ resolve in minimum TAT
Payroll & Statutory :
- Responsible for the monthly payroll process and ensure accuracy and proper reports for payroll related.
- Handling and completing the various audit.
- Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with upcoming change of statutory ordinance and government requirements
- Coordinate with inter department to address & resolve compliance related discrepancy.
Learning and Development
- Discuss with business managers on training and learning needs of Sales and Support Staff for Mumbai and Field.
- Prepare annual training calendar & ensure proper execution of the training calendar.
Experience & Requirements :
Education :
Post Graduate in Management (MBA) is Mandatory
