Assistant Manager - General Ledger - Retail/FMCG

- CA with 4-6 years of experience in Retail / FMCG industry

- Book close and reporting on a monthly basis, including preparation of the reporting pack

- Lease accounting as per US GAAP and Ind AS

- Preparation of financial statements including the notes to accounts as per IND AS.

- Preparation of various other reporting packs to Parent company including GAAP checklist, impairment analysis, Yearly and quarterly footnotes (10K & Q).

- Carrying out the fiscal reviews on a monthly basis highlighting the key risk areas and ensuring timely resolution for the same.

- Preparation of Balance sheet deck on a monthly basis.

- Ensuring issuance of cross functional reports on a timely basis.

- Inter-company accounting, insurance accounting.

- Completion of ABS (trintech) on a monthly basis.

- Timely closure of books of Accounts of the entities and reporting the numbers to the Parent Company

- Control and Review General Ledger Accounting including maintenance and control over chart of accounts

- Ensuring implementation of new accounting policies / standards as per US GAAP and IND AS.

- Ensuring Fiscal Reviews on a monthly basis with the Financial controller, Monthly Balance Sheet Reviews with the CFO

- Review and Finalization of Statutory Financial Yearly as per IND AS.

- Submission of various other reporting requirements / packages to Parent company including GAAP checklist, impairment analysis, Yearly and quarterly footnotes (10K & Q), board deck etc.

- Ensuring Fiscal Governance and Internal Controls which includes getting ICFR Audit done from IA and Statutory Audit Team.

- Liasoning with cross functional stakeholders including taxation, legal, FP&A etc.

- Participation in Special Projects relating to Finance Control
