Job Description:

- The Funds Onboarding team provides global support through single point of contact for agent trading client on-boarding requests and queries. The team's primary responsibility is to proactively source and collate information that expedites the completion of Know-Your-Client (KYC), Credit and Legal due diligence, as well as processing to meet regulatory requirements (e.g. Dodd-Frank).


- The Funds Onboarding function, in liaison with on-boarding partners (Sales, Clients, KYC, Credit and Legal), is designed to centrally capture on-boarding and related change requests in order to enable trading and provide notice to the business and clients of when they are good to trade.

What will you be doing?

- Facilitate onboarding of funds for various Asset Managers.

- Understand client's requirements and map the required products in the internal system.

- Develop client relationships throughout the onboarding process by providing clients with a - One-Stop- shop service model.

- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth account opening experience for the client.

- Ensure the necessary product passes through multiple checks correctly till the account setup is completed.

- Reviewing control reports, investigating and resolving breaks.

- Depending on level expertise, working closely with team leads to help input initiatives and bring process efficiencies.

- Manage E2E Onboarding process, including request initiation, managing regulatory requirements, performing Legal allocation, and control functions.

- Use multiple internal systems for workflow management and data storage.

- Performing necessary tasks/control checks during onboarding process (e.g. to comply with regulatory requirements)

- Undertake credit diligence, working closely with credit sanctioners and understand credit requirements and terms.

- Liaising with in house Legal team to ensure that new documentation requirements for newly on-boarded

- asset class is met.

- Reviewing multiple queues to minimize aged requests and ensuring data quality.

- Review multiple control reports to ensure deliverables are met without compromising the legal and regulatory framework of the process.

- Build strong working relationships and liaise with internal and external dependents including Clients,

- Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal and Operations

- Act as a central Point of Contact and Facilitator for Business/Clients and Legal.

- Facilitate account maintenance, change requests, novation, deletion as directed by the Client or internal stakeholders.

- Review the F2B process on an ongoing basis, identify patterns and trends to streamline the Onboarding process and increase service quality

- Build KPIs and MI Reports for management periodically

What we- re looking for:

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.

- Relevant years of prior experience in client on-boarding related roles in an Investment Bank.

- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail

- Be an effective and articulate communicator via e-mail and telephone especially important when communicating requirements and managing Client / Business expectations.

- Significant organizational skills - able to manage multiple activities effectively & efficiently (i.e. multi-task).

- Must possess ability to prioritize own workload, to work independently & to deliver under time pressure and high volumes (maintaining focus on control and attention to details)

- Desire to work in a team environment and collaborate with global team in order to complete objectives

- Ability to identify and appropriately escalate issue and risks

- Be self-motivated and highly driven with a willingness to accept challenges and work with tight deadlines

- Skills that will help you in the role:

- Good understanding of the mechanics of an Investment Bank setup.

- Basic knowledge of regulatory implications of different asset classes.

- Knowledge of principal only and agent-principal set-ups eg. hedge fund, pension fund, trusts

- Experience with Legal Documentation (ISDA, MRA, MSLA, MSFTA, etc)
