Assistant Manager FP&A


Essential Functions :


- Assist in the preparation of financial analysis of actual, forecast and budget figures and identify key trends as appropriate.

- Maintain detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements.

- Ensure compliance with internal financial accounting procedures and policies relevant to the scope of this role.

- Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Detailed overview :

- Support the GSA annual operating plan and monthly forecasts through continuous review and analysis of financials, business operations and sales pipeline

- Have a holistic view of operations and finances and impact on P&L through tracking of monthly financials, opportunities, financial metrics, variances against forecasts and projections

- Tracking financial performances and driving improvements and efficiency / optimization initiatives

- Close coordination with global and local operations and finance teams

- Reporting and tracking new business opportunities / new wins, utilization, and movement of financial metrics

- Working with the strategic pricing team on different pricing opportunities for the business(es) supported

- Maintain and update repository of business finance reports and explore opportunities for improvement

- Experience in Global stakeholder management

Qualifications :

- MBA Finance/CA/CWA

- 3+years' experience in Business Finance/FP&A

- Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

- Knowledge of Hyperion/Essbase preferable

- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.

- Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.

- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

- Candidates need to be strong in Excel and Ppt
