Work you'll do :

As an Assistant Manager in our Financial Modeling team, you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You'll:

- Take an active role in delivering advisory services to high growth organizations with a diverse team

- Be a part of team to design, develop and test models taking into consideration various scenarios and sensitivities the model will be exposed to.

- Actively execute model development / model review engagements.

- Independently perform modeling work in secondment opportunities.

- Executing assignments within deadlines, providing value add to clients, maintaining client relationship

- Create long term relationships with Deloitte member firms

- Achieve expertise in a specialization

- Facilitate the integration process of new recruits

- Take an active role in contribution to the working environment of the team

The kind of engagements we typically get involved in include developing/reviewing models and deriving analysis to support :

- Mergers & acquisitions

- Private equity buy-side and sell-side

- Strategy business planning

- Feasibility studies

- Working capital & cash flow management

- Corporate & financial restructuring

- Carve out & divestment

- Post-merger integration

- Cost reduction programs

Qualifications :

- Academic achievements with preferably a Master's Degree in Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering or other relevant qualification (CA / CWA / MBA / CFA / CPA etc)

Preferable to have:

- Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience related to financial modeling

- Strong excel skills - other relevant technical analytical skills could also be an advantage e.g. Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, Power Query.

- Knowledge of Advanced Excel , Python, strong mathematical and quantitative skills

- Having followings will be advantageous

- Knowledge of Monte Carlo Simulation technique

- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards / IFRS / US GAAP

- Experience in using valuation tools, including Bloomberg, financial research portals etc.

- General knowledge of accounting standards, corporate tax mechanisms, indirect taxes, cross country tax implications.

Expected to possess :

- Strong conceptualization skills and ability to convert plans to actions

- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills backed by an enthusiastic approach and a diligent client focus.

- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong external consulting or advisory experience is a plus
