Role: Financial Due Diligence

Experience: 3+ years in FDD

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Working in our multi-disciplined teams, you will apply your talents to a wide variety of complex, demanding and high profile transactions from acquisitions and mergers to flotation's and buy-outs.

- Developing an understanding of the target business and its drivers

- Assess data accuracy and reasonableness and follow-up directly with clients and third-parties appropriately to achieve necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies

- Work in a team interpreting data and analysing results along with transforming source data into a workable format, and visualizing data insights, using tools like Excel and Power BI;

- Proactively work with team leaders and team members to manage a workload of multiple projects with competing priorities based on relative importance and urgency;

- Identification of key issues and carrying out the relevant financial analysis.

- Preparing issues-focussed sections of the due diligence reports.

- Establishing credibility with lower/ middle level personnel at clients/targets as a

Mazars representative.

- Assume near independent responsibility for smaller clients

- Help project / team leader to ensure that risk documentation are completed for all jobs on a timely basis as per the applicable T&R technical/risk management policies.

Requirements:

- CA with minimum 3 years of FDD experience.

- Strong analytical skills complemented by strong business acumen.

- Up to date local business and economic knowledge.

- Strong accounting knowledge.

- Excellent written and oral communication.

- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

- Highly adaptable, able to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Keen to work in an international environment with teams across geographies to meet client requirements.

- Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical knowledge.

- Proficient in spoken and written English; any added language proficiency is a plus to liaise with international clients or targets.
