Assistant Manager - Finance - Financial Services

- Supervise Fixed asset recording, depreciation entries, to handle fixed assets, asset sales and depreciation accounting of the Company, and ensure all proper documentation is maintained

- Handle and compute depreciation as per Income tax Act

- To handle / supervise capital projects

- To be involved in the conduct of physical verification of Company assets and report on any discrepancies

- Keep control over the signed Capex and actual Capex spends and highlight any deviations

- To be involved in preparation of Annual Accounts as per Indian GAAP including Notes to Accounts

- Manage tax audits, statutory audits, internal audits and liaise with the external & internal auditors;

- Provide necessary support to overall accounting function for the financial accounting team

- Handle various tax and regulatory compliance - direct and indirect tax;

- Liaise with tax consultants as need be;

- Manage commercial negotiations and contracts for procurement;

- Supervise overall budget for capital projects and inform management for any deviations

- Ensure month end closing as per timelines

- Ensure the month reporting to the management while highlighting actual performance for the month, budget variance, rolling forecast till the end of the year and balance sheet and cash flow statements;

- Review month end financial reporting / reports to Group Finance

- Prepare various reports for the senior management team and Group at the end of the year to analyses the financials of the company;

- Provide technical support to financial accounting team for resolving queries and manage escalations;

- Identify gaps in the process and initiate process improvement plans;
