Assistant Manager - Finance Control - BPO/FMCG/Retail (6-10 yrs)
Controller-ship role for Multiple entities
JD -
- Perform closing controllership activities for 2-3 AMA (Asia, Middle East and Africa) Affiliates
- Own various Key SOX controls, ensuring compliance to documented controls
- Review account reconciliations performed by BPO partner
- Encourage, teach, and explain process's to BPO partner
- Bachelor's degree with qualification in CPA, Chartered or Cost Accountancy is preferred.
- 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in environments with multiple entities, both domestic and international outsourced BPO teams, especially retail will be preferred.
- Knowledge of Lease, Inventory and sales accounting
- Proficiency in closing and reporting in SAP ERP
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures & principles, GAAP requirements and SOX controls
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and facilitate communication between various groups explaining accounting concepts, variances and commentaries for closing schedules.
- Keen analytical skills to identify transaction issues, propose potential solutions, and perform trend analysis
- Ability to teach, train and coach group members
- Capability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally
