Position : Assistant Manager/ Manager - Finance &amp; Accounts Professional qualification : C.A. Experience should be 3-6 years Work Location will be Powai. Preferred industry : Manufacturing/Engineering. Job Description : Accounting &amp; month end closing related activities : - Monthly revenue recognition for non POC projects as per US-Gaap. - Finalising Cash sales and E&amp;C reversals for monthly revenue reporting. - Perform quarterly E&amp;O analysis and review any potential risk - Co-ordinating with BU on E&amp;O write off. - Finalizing month end provisions, Prepaid expense etc. - Finalise P&amp;L and variance analysis review with Finance head after month close Review month end inter-company reconciliation. Budget, Monthly POR (Forecast) ownership : - Finalise booking, Sales POR with BU team. - Finalise GP, SGA and OP in co-ordination with operation head, BU head and finance head - Finalise working capital and statistical numbers. - Ensuring the correct GST is levied on all sales transactions. - Identify trends of BTS, Backlog conversion, GC trends and identify risks in advance for Sales/GP/OP. - Participate in BU POR call, answer questions appropriately when needed. - Support finance team in uploading information in HFM, answer queries from AP BU and AP HQ Finance team related to Actuals, POR, Budgets. - Variance analysis of actuals results vs POR, Actual Vs budget etc with appropriate justifications. - Identify potential risks for sales, GP and OP proactively and work with operation team and BU head. - Update POR / Budget templates in timely manner. - Provide proactive information analysis for appropriate management decisions Other activities : - Backlog scrutiny, review of old non moving orders. - Preparation of Bu reviews / Mid year reviews / Visits. - Monthly reports - BU related submissions - PG / KOB reporting. - Supporting Finance team on various other accounting related requirements as and when needed. - Identifying and Driving profitability initiatives. Requirements : 1. Thorough Knowledge of Financial closing, Reporting activities. 2. Experience of independently handling month end Submissions. 3. Experience on working on Hyperion will be helpful.
