Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA - Broking House

A leading broking house in Mumbai is seeking to hire a Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

Qualification - Chartered Accountant

The Responsibilities would include :

- TDS, Service tax/GST. Thorough operational knowledge in GST. Must be well versed with GST laws and regulations, must have handled migration, registration and other formalities under GST laws.

- Periodic payments

- Preparation and filing of returns

- Understanding and familiarity with the latest provisions of the act

- Well versed with the input tax credit provisions

- Various reconciliations

- Effective follow up for discrepancies

- Maintenance of statutory records

- Handling of Service tax/GST assessments including compilation of various details required for assessments

- Monthly Closing / Finalization of Accounts

- Scrutiny of Ledgers, Review of Capital and Revenue advances, Scrutiny of Capital Expenditure, Scrutiny of provision statements, Variance analysis of expenses, Intercompany reconciliations, Balance sheet review analysis, Scrutinizing Bank Reconciliation etc.

- Thorough operational knowledge in GST. Must be well versed with GST laws and regulations.

- He must have handled migration, registration and other formalities under GST laws

- Independently handling auditors

- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power point.

- Ability to manage timelines

- Excellent analytical skills

- Effective communication-Oral as well as written
